Refunds and Cancellations
Standard Refund Policy:
Due to the nature of AI-powered services and the computational costs incurred from the moment you begin using Sam One, all subscription fees are non-refundable except as outlined below or where required by applicable law.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee:
If you are a new subscriber and are not satisfied with Sam One within the first 14 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund by contacting us at hello@usesam.co with the subject line "Refund Request."
To be eligible:
You must be a first-time subscriber (this guarantee applies once per customer)
The request must be made within 14 days of your initial subscription payment
The account must not have violated these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
We will process approved refunds within 3 - 5 business days.
Refunds for Service Failure: If Sam One experiences a sustained service outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours due to our systems (not including third-party service disruptions, scheduled maintenance, or force majeure events), you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the affected period at our discretion.
Cancellations:
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting hello@usesam.co. Upon cancellation:
You will retain access to Sam One until the end of your current billing period
No refund will be issued for the remaining days in your billing cycle
Your subscription will not auto-renew
You will have 30 days to export your data before account deactivation
Chargebacks:
Initiating a chargeback instead of contacting us for a refund may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of access to your data. Fraudulent chargebacks may be reported to payment fraud prevention services.
Exceptions:
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law, including consumer protection laws in South Africa, the European Union, or other jurisdictions that may apply to you.
